1. HOST AND ADMINISTRATOR

The KONKON AI Film Festival ("Festival") is hosted and administered by Mandrake Studios LLC, a creative company based in the United States focused on AI-powered cinematic storytelling and digital innovation.

All participating organizations and collaborators ("Creative Partners") involved in the design, promotion, and execution of this competition are listed on our official website: https://konkon.ai

2. ELIGIBILITY

• You must be 18 years of age or older to enter the Festival.

• The Festival is open globally, except in countries currently sanctioned by the United States. While we do not collect country-specific data to protect user privacy, we expect all participants to honor these restrictions.

• Creators may participate individually or as teams (up to 10 members). Teams must designate a "Team Representative" who will act on behalf of the group.

• Participants are responsible for ensuring that their submissions do not violate employment or regional restrictions.

3. CREATOR RIGHTS & OWNERSHIP

• You retain full ownership of your submitted work.

• You may share your submission publicly, post on social media, and enter other festivals.

• KONKON and its Creative Partners do not claim resale or sublicensing rights to your film.

4. USAGE RIGHTS FOR PROMOTION

By submitting, you grant KONKON and its Creative Partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your film for promotional purposes including:

• Website features

• Social media highlights

• Marketing materials

• Festival trailers and reels

You also consent to being contacted for future opportunities, early-access tools, community updates, and potential Season announcements.

5. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Each submission must:

• Fit within one of the defined Festival categories (see: https://konkon.ai/categories)

• Be original, AI-powered, and adhere to community guidelines

KONKON reserves the right to disqualify any work that includes hateful, exploitative, or unethical content.

6. JUDGING

A selected panel of industry professionals, artists, and technologists will review all eligible submissions based on originality, technical execution, emotional impact, and alignment with category themes.

In the event of a tie, additional judging rounds may occur.

7. PRIZES

Prize information, including cash awards, software credits, and mentorship opportunities, will be available on the official Festival website.

• Winners will be notified via the email used at submission.

• Prizes will be delivered within 7 business days of the public announcement.

• Taxes and bank processing fees are the responsibility of the winners.

8. CONDITIONS & RELEASE

By entering, participants agree:

• That KONKON and Mandrake Studios LLC may use their names, project titles, and assets (with credit) in marketing campaigns.

• To release KONKON, Mandrake Studios LLC, and all Creative Partners from any liability associated with participation, content creation, or prize usage.

9. PUBLICITY WAIVER

By submitting, you agree to allow KONKON to use your name, likeness, and submission title for up to three years in promotional content related to the Festival, unless otherwise requested in writing.

10. GENERAL TERMS

• KONKON reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition due to unforeseen circumstances.

• Disqualification may occur in cases of unethical conduct, false information, or policy violations.

• The final interpretation of all rules lies solely with KONKON.

11. DISPUTES

All disputes shall be resolved under the laws of the State of Florida USA.
